Your Role: Warehouse Associate/Delivery Van Driver Embark on a journey where every day is a new opportunity to connect and contribute. In this dual role, you’ll be the vital link between our products and our clients, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our lighting and rigging systems. When not navigating the vibrant streets of NYC, you’ll be an integral player in our warehouses, orchestrating the flow of goods and setting the stage for success. What You’ll Do:

  • Navigate and deliver across the NYC metropolitan area, representing Barbizon’s excellence to clients and ensuring precise package handling.
  • Play a pivotal role in warehouse operations, from loading to inventory management, while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Operate and master various warehouse tools and equipment, adhering to safety protocols to ensure optimal operational performance.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment, contributing to and benefiting from our collective success and professional growth.
  • Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently, ensuring timely arrivals and the utmost care in handling and securing goods.
  • Maintain detailed records and uphold vehicle care, ensuring operational excellence and a commitment to Barbizon’s standards of quality.

Skills and Attributes We Seek:

  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Physical fitness, able to lift up to 70 lbs, embodying the strength and stamina our role requires.
  • Deep familiarity with NYC’s geography, navigating its streets with confidence and efficiency.

Experience & Requirements:

  • A clean driving record, showcasing your commitment to safety and responsibility.
  • Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are a plus, reflecting NYC’s diverse tapestry.
  • Experience with FedEx and UPS software is advantageous, streamlining our delivery processes.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is advantageous, though training will be provided to equip the ideal candidate.

The salary range for a Warehouse Associate/Delivery Van Driver at Barbizon Lighting’s New York City’s location is currently $40K to $45K per annum, depending upon experience. Please be aware extensive industry experience or specific skills that fully match, or exceed what is required, may in fact increase this range. We strongly encourage all to apply.

In addition to the base pay listed here, Barbizon offers a generous compensation package including medical, dental, life insurance, long-term disability, profit share, and a matching 401k Plan at no cost to the employee. The Company fully funds Barbizon’s healthcare benefits for all full-time employees and dependents.
